As you might also know I have been living in my own apartment for a while now and I am still trying to make it a little better and decorate it well. So this idea was just plain brilliant!
What you need: is a cork board (mine was already hanging on the wall and it would be incredibly hard to unscrew it so I just paint it on the wall - yeah I know, I am crazy :D), a brush (or a roller brush which is what I used), tape (to make a line in the middle of the board), white paint (or any other color, depends entirely on you!) and something to cover the surroundings (hehehe anyone else is as messy as I am?).
The process is really easy! You just use the tape to separate the board into 2 sections, one section you paint and the other one stays as it is. I think I did 3 coats but 2 are probably enough as well. I finished the whole "project" with hanging lights around the board and of course pinning stuff on the board.
